We have a huge update on our most used feature on Astronaut.
We understand that interviews are an important part of the recruiting process since they allow the recruiters to assess a candidate’s attitude, aptitude, and presence. Astronaut’s asynchronous video interviews (AVI) were developed for that very purpose, to help recruiters assess candidates. Interviews help move decision-making faster and recognize expertise and conviction. AVI allows recruiters and candidates to not be bound by the limited timeframe when conducting traditional interviews.
The question is, how does Astronaut’s AVI improve the candidate experience while not losing an essential component of the interview process? Many are concerned that AVI would eliminate the interaction between candidates and recruiters, the human touch. What solution can resolve this?
Fear not—Astronaut’s latest feature update release has allowed recruiters to put a face to the questions they ask. They may upload or record a video directly on the Astronaut platform, in which they may ask interview questions that are important to the recruiting process with a friendly face rather than just reading a text. The feature is set to put a candidate feel at ease when answering questions, allowing for the optimum candidate experience possible!
Astronaut maintains a user-friendly interface so it is easy to use. To utilize this feature first, choose the video question, then hit the start button to record your question or you can simply choose a pre-recorded video that you already prepared. You may also choose how many times the question can be played to ensure that the candidate has enough time to comprehend your question.
Try this feature yourself and increase the candidate experience. Haven’t tried Astronaut yet? Try it out free at https://astrnt.co/register and get 14 credits for you to start posting and assessing candidates for your company’s needs.
