What does Astronaut & Bowling have in common?
On September 28th, the Astronaut team near and far gathered at our office in Bandung. From Jakarta, Yogya, Bali, and Queensland, the team meets up to discuss our 4th Quarter roadmap. Getting the team together to meet is a valuable moment, as most of us only see each other mostly through online meetings. An emotional moment for some, who have spent time working on projects together for months, but never actually met in real life.
Located at Graha Pos in Bandung, we kicked off the meeting with learnings we got from visiting the SaaStr 2022 event; which includes the importance of product-led growth. It is something that Astronaut has been conducting since the launch of our self-serve feature last April 2022. The learnings that we took back from SaaStr were in line with the plans we have, and it gives us the chance to fine-tune our designs.
Astronaut’s CEO; Nigel Hembrow, gave a crucial presentation on product-led growth development progress, as it is part of our Q4 roadmap this year. Freemium services were also in discussion as their correlation to POPSkul, where the plan to launch an always-free applicant tracking system (ATS) was one of the items to be launched this quarter.
Technology adoption in recruitment is an important topic for us, and getting feedback from our users allows us to create a better product. We also addressed the Southeast Asian talent ecosystem in order to have a deeper understanding of the market we serve in order to keep our development team to keep rolling out new products and features that are aligned with what our users need.
Speaking of keeping things rolling, the team concluded the day by rolling some balls on the lane. We had a blast bowling at the Siliwangi Sports Center’s bowling lane. We might even start a company bowling league of our own.
To answer the question of What does Astronaut & Bowling have in common? We keep on rolling forward.
