Sheeren Yolanda is Astronaut’s new resident psychometrician and talent assessment specialist. She works with our assessment provider partners to deliver pre-made assessments to Astronaut’s ever growing assessment library. This will help our users who have not yet own or created assessments to quickly start hiring fast.
A psychology graduate from Unika Atma Jaya, Sheeren spent most of her professional career at Astra where she started as an Assessment Development Analyst, where she was in charge of developing psychometric tests for Astra’s candidate selection process. She grew her skills in Human Capital functions as she works closely with Astra’s affiliated companies, which led to her proven competencies in assessment center.

In her 11 years with the company, she grew her ranks to corporate an was entrusted as the Head of Astra’s Assessment Development Center, where she was in charge of the recruiting and assessment technology advancement, recruitment analytics, leadership competency development, assessment center, psychometric test and simulation development for recruitment and talent management. She was also supporting Astra’s affiliated companies as internal consultant.
During that time she has been active with psychology organizations such as PASSTI (Perkumpulan Assessment Center Indonesia) and APSIMETRI (Asosiasi Psikometri Indonesia). On her spare time, she also does pro-bono work such as counseling for psychological/mental health issues, and coaching
for personal growth.
Her current role at Astronaut is to support Astronaut users to implement the best assessment tools, optimize their assessment process, and get insights from assessment the assessment data they receive. In that note, she will also provide our development teams to create better tools and features based on research and feedback from recruiter/assessor experience.
In her spare time Shereen has a passion for coffee. Her passion has led her to learn about manual brewing and the different types of coffee beans from both local varieties and international. Her passion will likely continue to grow on, as her favorite quote from Robert Frost states: “In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.”
