Irene Ossi Widyastuti is Astronaut’s Customer Success Account Manager (CSAM), the latest addition to our commitment to service and ensuring that our customers get the best out of our products. A masters graduate of English Language and Linguistics from the Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands, she started her early career as an English Teacher for ELTI Gramedia in Yogyakarta, and for THIESS in East Kalimantan before she took her masters degree studies in the Netherlands.
Before graduating from Radboud, she was hired as a content developer intern for an online language learning education platform called NovoLanguage in the Netherlands. She developed various English language learning contents, predominantly for the hotel and hospitality industry. In 2015, she was promoted as CSAM for the company’s move to the South East Asian market. In her time, she has worked with hospitality industries and universities, such as Alila Hotel Groups, Nusa Dua Bali, Surveyor Indonesia, Yogya State University (UNY), Medan State University (UniMed), and many more. She spent most of the 7 years with NovoLanguage working from Indonesia.
Off the clocks, this mother of 1 loves to travel, especially that lets her enjoy nature. Though she confessed since the pandemic, her hobby has shifted to “Netflix and Chill” with her husband. She hopes to be able to travel again soon.
Irene currently leads CSAM at Astronaut. She looks forward to her time in Astronaut, she hopes to gain more experience in the software as a service industry. When asked about her desires, plans and happiness for her future, she simply stated: “Happiness comes from within yourself. When you are content with your current state, then you are happy”.
